STUDENT LIFE
Health and Physical Activity
Physical activity plays a very important role in our students' lives. At FSA, we carve out a weekly supervised P.E. class for all of our students. The Pre-K students are offered a gymnastics class. During snack breaks and after lunch, students are expected to partipate in the outdoor games made available - whether it's volleyball, football (soccer), 4-square, tetherball or the favorite...Capture the Flag.
Outside of school, many of our students enjoy surfing, boogie boarding, horseback riding, snorkeling, scuba diving, football (soccer), and wakeboarding among many, many other outdoor activities offered in the area.
Check out some of the activities you can find on site offered during or after school OR within just a few minutes of Five Stars Academy.

Music
Music is an important part of a student's development. For those students who choose, FSA provides the opportunity to take lessons during the week from a top instructor in more than 14 different instruments.
Gardens
Teaching independence includes growing our own food in gardens on school grounds. Our gardens have produced watermelon, tomatoes, melon, green peppers, cucumber, and lots of different kinds of herbs. In addition, we have mango, banana, avocado, lemon and many other producing trees on our grounds.
FSA STUDENTS PRESENT:
Student Movie
May 2016
"7 Ways to Die" The Movie
Led by Emmanuel Herbelet, the high school students wrote, directed, filmed, casted and starred in this satirical horror film.
The students used a combination of pencil, watercolor and pastels.
Art
The Art Curriculum is a completely hands-on program. Students learn the principles of design with a follow up project that allows them to put to practice what they have learned. Students are introduced to famous artists – their lives, place in history, style and technique. They then have a chance to create in the style or technique of the artist.
Students gain experience with a variety of media as well, including but not limited to, pencil, colored pencil, paint, oil pastels, and pastels. The students are also given the opportunity to create three-dimensionally using clay and other mediums.
Singing
Singing is offered as an elective to students Ages 7 and up. Our singing instructor teaches vocal technique, breathing, tuning, vocalization, rhythm, stage managing, body language, improvisation, and interpretation.
